Thermaltake Technology has recently announced the new silent AMD Socket K8 / AM2 heatsink – TR2 R1. The TR2 R1 matched with the special hanging 9238 fan utilizes the chassis airflow and provides the smoothest airflow while looking great. The easy-to-assemble nature of the TR2 R1 will please both the silent-computing enthusiasts and system integrators.

      

        The TR2 R1 equipped with high density of pure aluminum fin heatsink. The perfect pin-fin ratio plus the 92x92x38 hanging fan, which allows multidirectional air intake and utilizes system air flow, to achieve the better cooling performance.



        Thanks to the frame-less 92x92x38mm hanging fan, there will be no air rebounding, resulting in less turbulence, and less fan noise. The fan speed of the TR2 R1 fan is rated at 1300rpm and the noise decibel rating at 19dbA. The fan will sound quiet even in a silent recording studio. The wiring from the fan is also sleeved in stylish mesh sleeving to reduce system cable clutter and simplify installation.



        Tt TR2 R1 utilizes the tool-less clipping mechanism of the AMD systems - installation is simple, easy, and fast. Compatible with the new market trend, the TR2 R1 is also compatible with the newest AMD Socket AM2 specifications. If anyone would like to upgrade into the AMD Socket AM2 in the future, they will not need to worry about having to upgrade the CPU heatsink as the TR2 R1 is compatible.
